Romans 12:20
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him
drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Winston Churchill said, "We make a living by what we get, but we
make a life by what we give." Giving even small things in response to
those who give you grief, will re-shape your life and bring about
change in both sides of a relationship. May your thoughts be centered
upon your Lord's example, today, and may you generously give out of
the abundance of your overflowing heart.

I Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to
give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that
is in you with meekness and fear.
Get ready! Through your actions and words you will tell a watching
world, today, whether you live with hope or fear. You are admonished
in our verse, to prepare your heart through prayer, so that you will
display the proper attitude. Give "hope" to everyone you meet, and be
sure to tell them that this "hope" is found in Jesus Christ! Get
ready, someone is watching your life!

Proverbs 23:26
My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
Some people would rather give their possessions than to have to
give their heart away. What do you have that God would want? The
greatest gift you can give God, is that of your heart. This means
that you put all your trust in Him alone. When you give God ownership
of your heart, you will want to obey Him. This will include giving Him
your eyes, a picture of surrendering your selfish desires. Does God
have your heart? This is the gift that God wants you to give Him,
every day of your life!

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
Love is most often measured by its gifts. There are three things in
this verse that tells us about how God gives, and how you can give.
1. God made a sacrifice. Your giving will require a personal
sacrifice.
2. God gave, not requiring works. Your gift must be free, not based
upon what you get out of it.
3. Jesus gave His life for the whole world. Your giving must include
everyone, excluding no one.
Do you need to be a better "giver?"

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down,
and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your
bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be
measured to you again.
Do you really believe what our verse says? It's true, whether you
believe it and live it out, or not. You can't out give God. Someone
said, "No one has ever become poor by giving." Instead the opposite
is true, we become poor, when we stop giving. If you find yourself
poor and needy, it could be you need to be a better "giver." If you
are person who "gives more than you take," be encouraged and keep
giving!
