I Timothy 2:1-2
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

The big day in America has finally arrived. As people all over our
land are casting their votes, pray for Christians to vote biblical
values. God has a plan for our nation and the other nations of this
world. We are commanded to pray for all men in authority, as God
appoints who He wills to accomplish His eternal purpose. Your prayer
for your nation can make a difference!

Matthew 7:11
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give
good things to them, that ask Him?

Some people don’t pray because they have the wrong image of
God in their mind. They think that God should answer prayer according
to their specifications, and when He doesn’t, they stop praying. The
key word in the above verse is “good”. As the Senior Partner with all
wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, He alone knows what is “good”
for you. As you pray today, accept what He gives you and understand
that You are God’s object of love.

Psalm 88:1-2
1 O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before Thee:
2 Let my prayer come before Thee: incline Thine ear unto my cry.

Imagine that you are sitting on a bench and God is right beside
you. You have God all to yourself and you can have a conversation
with Him about anything. What would you say? Would your heart swell
and your eyes fill with tears as you thank and praise Him for your
salvation? Would you openly share your heavy burdens and needs? If
you have asked Jesus Christ into your heart, He is with you as
pictured, and He’s longing to share such an intimate moment with you.
His ear is listening for YOUR voice.

Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty
things, which thou knowest not.

In our partnership with God, prayer is one of our biggest
challenges. We tend to put our own human limitations upon God. If we
can do something in our own abilities, we often won’t call upon Him.
God tells us that we are missing a lot of great and mighty things by
not including Him in EVERY area of our lives. Have you forgotten that
He can still part the Red Sea? He can still do things you can’t
imagine! Take the challenge and call upon God!

Psalm 37:5
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring
it to pass.

Spurgeon said, “Roll your whole burden of life upon the Lord.” This
means you give God all the things that are pulling you down, and stop
trying to manage and work things out yourself. This means you trust
it all to the Lord and take your hands off. You must do your part,
and let God do His part. It’s a partnership with guaranteed
dividends!

Psalm 9:1
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth
all thy marvelous works.

This is the day! This is the day when you need to tell everyone
about the marvelous things that God has done for you. Do you need
some help thinking of things? Can you name ten things? That’s a
small list compared to what God has prepared for you throughout
eternity. Smile and enjoy being a Christian today!

Isaiah 41:13
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee,
fear not; I will help thee.

Are you worried or concerned over an uncertain situation in your
life? The Lord thy God, wants you to know that you can give it to
Him, and you don’t need to be fearful. He has helped every generation
from Adam to this present day, and He will help you, if you are His
child.

Psalm 139:9-10
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost
parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold
me.

As you start this day, take this mental picture of God’s presence
with you. If you went to the highest place in the sky or down to the
lowest part of the sea, there is no place where God’s hand is not
there with you. Just in case you might feel insecure, His other hand
is there to protect you and hold you safe in His care. God gives you
BOTH His hands in this partnership! He goes beyond all human
comprehension….that’s your Almighty God!

Proverbs 3:6
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

It’s Monday! You know what that means….you are going to
need some extra help to stay focused and get back into the workplace
routine. You need the love and direction of the Senior Partner. There
is a direct line from His heart to yours, access it.

Psalm 57:2
I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things
for me.

Why is it we can forget to call upon God, until we are at the point
of despair? Why don’t we call upon God on a good day and include Him
then? Wherever you find yourself today, don’t overlook an opportunity
to stop and praise His name! Every day is a good day when He’s your
partner.
